Job Purpose

The Director of Revenue & Marketing at Puttery NYC is responsible for maximizing revenue across entertainment, food & beverage, and event activations while building brand visibility through innovative marketing. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of hospitality, events, and experiential entertainment. The Director will oversee business pipelines, partnerships, and marketing campaigns that drive both daily traffic and large-scale buyouts, ensuring Puttery remains a premier social entertainment destination in New York City.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Leadership
    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets ($14–16M).

    • Drive revenue across entertainment rounds, F&B programs, and corporate/group events.

    • Manage event social calendar, securing high-value corporate buyouts and private activations.

    • Forecast, budget, and report on revenue performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.

  • Marketing & Brand Growth
    • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, and community channels.

    • Build influencer, corporate, and local partnerships that drive traffic and brand awareness.

    • Oversee guest acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs to maximize lifetime value.

    • Leverage cross-promotions with Rory’s Rooftop and Bomba Nightclub to enhance building-wide synergy.

  • Partner with venue leadership to align service execution with sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure guest experience is consistent with Puttery’s upscale, immersive brand identity.

  • Analyze guest feedback, market trends, and competitor offerings to continuously innovate.

  • Lead the event sales and marketing teams, ensuring accountability for pipeline and campaign execution.

  • Foster a revenue-driven culture across venue staff, including upsell training and guest engagement.

  • Collaborate with national marketing and operations teams for alignment on brand standards and strategy.

Additional Information

Qualifications and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality, entertainment, or event-driven revenue and marketing roles.
  • Proven success driving revenue in high-volume, experiential venues.
  • Strong background in corporate/group events and activation marketing.
  • Digital marketing expertise (social media, paid media, content strategy).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

 

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $150,000–$170,000 (commensurate with experience).

  • Incentive Bonus: Up to _% of base salary, tied to revenue and marketing performance metrics.

  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, exempt position on-site at Puttery NYC.

  • Standard schedule of 50–55 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events and peak demand.

  • Mix of office-based work (sales, marketing, reporting) and floor presence during activations and service hours.

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Limited travel for partnerships, client meetings, and cross-venue initiatives.

  • Daily use of CRM, POS, reservation/event, and marketing platforms; must remain responsive to urgent business needs.
